Mr. Alvarez, who leads all operational execution efforts for the firm, has worked in the Los Angeles real estate industry for over 30 years, and was born and raised in the Northeast LA submarket where much of Arroyo’s strategy is focused. Prior to progressing into multifamily development, he started his career in the single family space as both a broker and developer, where he and his team were responsible for over 10,000 funded and closed transactions. Mr. Alvarez manages as many as 20 projects in varying phases of development at any given time, and is an expert in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from due diligence through construction and property management. He routinely consults for other developers and institutions in Los Angeles as they navigate the intricacies of development in the city.
